True Beauty

You know what breaks my heart the most.

Is when we look in the mirror and all that we see is something broken and when the words beautiful are no longer said to yourself

but rather the person you see as perfect.  

Don’t compare yourself my darling, the lie of not being good enough has left you blind to the real person behind that reflection.

You let these words fill your mind, bringing a battle of strife.Like a dark shadow it will try to overcome your light and your own personality within your life. Who you are is who you were made to be; I just wish you could see.Uniquely and so wonderfully made, it’s only your vision that makes that thought fade. Your beauty is every single part of you. Lies society blind us from reality.

Our worth is based on the cover of the next magazine;

the likes we get or the words we are around.

Bound by an image or the next best thing.

Leaving us empty from within. 

Our life has no purpose but

to live in the moment. 
Bringing suffocation from the form of our fixation. 

We keep loving a world that so easily rejects us even

when our value belongs in a God who accepts us.

He sees our worth and designed us, why don’t we let his words define us.
